We offer EV Chargers installed through our integrated platforms Installation Agreement, which is a great opportunity to bring homeowners more value by offering EV outlets and EV chargers along with their solar project. EV chargers are not currently available for existing customers or as a standalone offering, they are only available as an add-on to a solar installation.

What work do we provide for EV Chargers?
Engenuity Energy Solutions has two options for customers who wish to install an EV Charger conveniently along with their solar project. The first option is simply installing a 50-Amp EV Outlet for the customer, so they can purchase and plug in their Level 2 charger whenever they are ready. The second option is a complete Level 2 Charger installation along with the EV Outlet, so the customer is ready to plug in and charge their vehicle right away.
What is a Level 2 EV Charger?
Level 2 is the standard for daily charging and uses a 208/240V AC setup. With twice as much voltage as a 110V outlet, a 30-Amp charging station can charge electric cars at 25 miles each hour. At this speed, an EV driver can receive a full charge during the work day or while parked overnight vs. 20+ hours with a standard 110V outlet.
Level 2 chargers offer faster charger times and increased convenience than standard outlet charges for EVs.
